Knife and Sheath

Seven Fires Art is pleased to offer this traditional and functional work of art by Oglala Lakota artist Sungmanitu.

Sheath is double layered leather with rawhide on the inside. It is beaded on both sides and features seven stars representing the Ocheti Sakowin. The heavy-duty studded knife handle is cherry and the knife blade is all rez, honed from a leaf spring. Made for prairie life. Museum/heirloom quality. Horse hair and leather fringe attached with sinew and beaded strap.

Knife is 12.5" in length. Sheath is 11.5".
